In this programme, a group of 14- to 16-year-old students embark upon a cross-curriculum visit to the European Parliament in Strasbourg.
Though the students spend some time sightseeing and absorbing local culture, the main purpose of their trip is to participate in a Euroscholar Day; joining with 500 fellow pupils from schools throughout Europe.
They learn about the workings of the EU from officials and later get to act as MEPs for the day, debating and voting on topical issues.
In doing so the students, from three separate schools in Kent, discover that language is not necessarily a barrier to communication.
